Teen Killed In Mini-Bike's Collision With Van In Burlington Co.: Police

The young man's mini-bike hit a van that was making a turn, authorities said.

EVESHAM, NJ — A crash between a van and mini-bike that killed a teenager is under investigation, officials said.

The collision happened at about 10:20 p.m. Monday at Evesboro-Medford Road and Tenby Lane in Evesham. The operator of a gas-powered mini-bike — Justin Rapp, 19, of Marlton — sustained fatal injuries, police said.

According to the on-scene investigation, the van was moving east on Evesboro-Medford Road and turning left onto Tenby Lane. Rapp was traveling west on Evesboro-Medford Road when the vehicles collided in the intersection, police said.

Rapp was treated at the scene and taken to Virtua Hospital Marlton, where he died from his injuries, police said. The van driver was unhurt.

The investigation remains ongoing, and no charges have been announced as of this writing.
