Township Will Appoint Interim Administrator Tonight

Township committee meets at 7:30 Monday night at the for its regular meeting. It’s open to the public. Here are some agenda items being discussed or voted on you should know.

Acting township administrator—Township committee members will vote to appoint an administrator for an interim period until a permanent person is in place.

“We need somebody to be running our township while we’re doing our search for a full-time administrator,” Deputy Mayor Anthony Minniti said. 

Some roles of the interim administrator would be to supervise staff, coordinate time off and oversee the .

Block parties—A will be introduced after weeks of discussion of over specifics such as cost of permits, percentage of neighbors who must comply and certain rules regarding and safety.

Site plan ordinance—Township committee will introduce an ordinance that deals with site plans. It deals with site plan waviers for empty buildings in town.
