Riverton’s ‘Treasure Day’ tradition brings together neighbors, bargain hunters
About 150 homes in Riverton, Burl. Co., will welcome bargain-hunters Saturday, May 9 for the annual Treasure Day. This string of yard sales, food sales and other activities draws visitors who walk the streets of this Victorian-era borough. At less than a square mile, the borough is a compact area for shoppers who love the historical atmosphere. They find antiques, collectibles, children’s items and much more. Rain date is May 16, although individual homeowners may choose to proceed no matter the weather.
