2 Injured In Accident Involving Truck Fire On NJ Turnpike: Police
The accident occurred Wednesday morning.

Two people were injured in an accident that resulted in a truck fire on the New Jersey Turnpike Wednesday morning, according to New Jersey State Police.
A Dodge Ram pickup truck and a dump truck collided around mile marker 54 at about 9:53 a.m., according to New Jersey State Trooper Michael Gomes.
The driver of the dump truck, identified as 51-year-old John Corrente Jr., of Manalapan, escaped the truck just before it exploded. The driver of the pickup truck has been identified as 37-year-old Daniel Busby, of Cranbury. Both drivers were hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries.

The accident remains under investigation. No charges had been filed as of early Wednesday afternoon.
