CINNAMINSON, NJ — Here's a look at some upcoming events at the Cinnaminson Library for the week of Feb. 11-15, 2020. Each event's description comes from the library's website. Click the name of each event for more information.

Tuesday, Feb. 11
Tai Chi, 10:30 a.m. to noon: This is a beginner’s course in Qigong and Tai Chi, slow, gentle forms of exercise that help increase energy, flexibility, balance and body awareness. Those who suffer from bad posture, stiff joints, tension and instability should find the course especially helpful. No special equipment or attire required other than loose-fitting clothing and soft, flat-bottom shoes. This program is for adults only.

Cursive Class, 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Have you ever wanted to sign your name in a fancy script? Read older documents (like the Declaration of Independence)? Write messages to your friends that other people can't read? It's time to learn cursive writing! Come in and learn cursive lettering and practice in fun ways at the library with Miss Kristie. Best for ages 7 and up. This month we will be making valentines to give to friends.

Creative Writing Workshop, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Welcome to a workshop where writers write. Through writing exercises, games, timed writing, and discussions with peers, we can find joy and satisfaction in creative writing. Bring your laptops. This program is for adults.

Thursday, Feb. 13
Valentine's Day Make & Take, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Pop by the library to make an adorable owl card to give to your favorite valentine. Best for ages 4 to 12.

Friday, Feb. 14
Little Builders, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Come and build at the library! We have several fun STEM kits like Marble Run, Duplos, and more! Registration is not required!

TEEN Self-Care Spa, 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Join us for a relaxing program in which we create DIY foot soaks and make our own lip balm. Please bring a towel from home and please register ahead of time, as class size is limited. For ages 11 to 18.

Saturday, Feb. 15
K-POP in Your Area!, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Do you love KPop? We do too! Join us for an afternoon of fun as we discuss our favorite groups, newest videos, and more! Registration is not required.

Talk Up a Storm: ESL Conversation Group, 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.: Want to practice your English with other non-native speakers? Want to improve your vocabulary, grammar and speech in a safe and supportive environment? Join ESL facilitator, Kathy Orey, twice a month for conversation practice covering topics such as food, shopping, health, customs, holidays, and fun things to do. Important to know: Kathy Orey is the facilitator and will lead the group in activities.
