Body Found In Clothing Donation Bin In N.J.

A woman, who doesn't want her name used, said she saw legs hanging from a Planet Aid donation box, according to reports.

The body of a man lying under a white sheet was found in a clothing donation bin at a New Jersey Jersey convenience store Sunday, police said.

The discovery of the dead man led a crowd of people to watch the body’s recovery, according to nj.com.

The body was found in a clothing donation bin in the parking lot of a Country Farm Convenience Store in South Jersey, according to the report, and the man’s foot stuck out from under the sheet.

James Perry, of Browns Mills and a firefighter in Jacobstown, told nj.com that he lives near the convenience store and often saw the man walking around the neighborhood.

Authorities do not believe any foul play was at hand, according to the report.

The discovery was made around 2 p.m.; a woman, who doesn’t want her name used, said she saw legs hanging from a Planet Aid donation box in Pemberton, according to 6abc.

“I heard the gentleman, who was parked next to us, say that it was just a joke, that someone put a dummy there,” she told 6abc. “And as I proceeded to walk to the store, my husband yelled over that it was a person.”

The woman called 911 while her husband tried to pull the victim out to save him, but he was already dead, according to the report.
