Antiques on the Avenue

Downtown Collingswood

Search the attic and gather your heirlooms! Collingswood is hosting an antique appraisal event as part of Second Saturday. Bring trinkets, antiques, and collectibles to Haddon Avenue to ask local experts about their value. Spend the evening enjoying the art and music of Second Saturday throughout Collingswood's downtown before or after your appraisal. Experience dozens of one-night art exhibits tucked in retail shops, restaurants, and spots on every block, as well as the live music, shopping, and dining that Collingswood is known for.

Hoppy Java Coffee IPA Release

Flying Fish Brewing Company, Somerdale

Come celebrate the release of Hoppy Java Coffee IPA with Flying Fish! This light bodied, immensely hopped IPA has a distinct coffee presence thanks to cold brewed coffee from Revolution Coffee Roasters. Combining two of the most important food groups - coffee and beer - Hoppy Java creates the sensory surprise of a light colored ale matched with an intense coffee aroma and flavor. Rob's Craft Sandwiches food truck will also be onsite with some coffee inspired food.

Laser Zeppelin

Edelman Planetarium at Rowan University, Glassboro

The Edelman Planetarium's laser light shows use a new state of the art projection system from Laser Fantasy to treat your eyes and ears to an experience of your favorite bands like none other! Guests can enjoy classic songs from Led Zeppelin including "In the Evening," "Ramble On," "Black Dog," "Stairway to Heaven," "D'yer Mak'er," and many more! Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children, seniors, and Rowan students.

Moonlight & Magnolias

The Eagle Theatre, Hammonton

Legendary producer David O. Selznick has shut down production of his new epic, Gone with the Wine, a film adaption of Margaret Mitchell's novel. The screen play just doesn't work. Selznick sends for screenwriter Ben Hecht and pulls director Victor Fleming from the set of The Wizard of Oz. Summoning them both to his office, he locks the doors, closes the shades, and on a diet of bananas and peanuts, the three men labor over five days. You won't want to miss this hilarious tour de force as three men act out each role of the blueprint for the most successful and beloved film of all time! The show runs through April 29th.

Vietnam War Living History Day
Saturday, April 7 | 10 AM - 3 PM
Battleship New Jersey, Camden Waterfront

Experience Vietnam War artifacts, re-enactors, veteran interviews, and even late 1960's music during the Battleship New Jersey's annual Vietnam War Living History Day! The USS New Jersey was commissioned for Vietnam on April 6, 1968 and she was the only battleship that saw action off the coast of Vietnam. Guests touring the the battleship can explore an exhibit that features her commission as part of the Fire Power Tour. All activities are free for guests with the purchase of a Turret II guided tour or a Fire Power audio tour.

Rails-with-Trails Pop Up Event

In celebration of the National Opening Day for Trails, Camden County is hosting a Rails-with-Trails Pop Up Event! The event will close down Atlantic Avenue in Haddon Heights for family fun. Attendees are encouraged to learn about the upcoming Rails-with-Trails project with renderings, facts, food, fun, and a bike giveaway. This event is a preview of what is to come once the Rails-with-Trails project is completed in bringing multi-use trails through twelve Camden County communities.

Saturdays on the Crushpad

Dandelion Release Party

Bellview Winery, Landisville

This time of year brings more than just a bud break in Bellview Winery's Vineyard; it also brings a new vintage of Dandelion Wine that will be available to the public for tasting and purchase this weekend! Alongside their newest vintage, Bellview will be tasting some Dandelion Wines that have been aging in the cellar for quite some time so that guests can taste the dramatic changes in flavor that occur over time with this unique wine. Throughout the day, the winery will be holding several tours of the vineyard as the vines begin to wake up from their long winter slumber. Grab a wine lover and come to Bellview to experience something different!

History Hike

Whitesbog Village, Browns Mills

Take a walking tour of several Whitesbog Village buildings starting with the General Store! Walk with Sharon Goodman, long-time volunteer and daughter of the shopkeeper. Sharon will share stories about the families that lived in the village and answer questions along the way. It's $5 per person and supports village programs and preservation. Wear sturdy walking shoes for the sandy roads and historic building floors.

Pine Barrens Time Machine

This trip will be led by guide and naturalist, John Volpa.

Collingswood Restaurant Week

Come by Downtown Collingswood for their "Everything is Better with Bacon" themed restaurant week! Participating restaurants will be offering prix fixe menus, a multi-course meal with a set price.
