Virtua Health Employee Arrested On Child Pornography Charges Suspended From Job
Stephen Gifford was arrested following a warrant search at his house on Thursday.

A Burlington County man who was arrested and charged with possession and distribution of child pornography has been suspended from his position with Virtua Health Services, a spokesperson said Friday morning.
Stephen Gifford, 32, whose duties with Virtua include patient transportation, has also had his access to Virtua facilities terminated, Virtua said.
Gifford, of Medford, was charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. He was arrested following a warrant search of his home on Thursday, authorities announced.

He is also a ropes instructor at the JCC Camps in Medford. JCC had no comment on the situation on Thursday.
Police allege numerous digital storage devices that contained pornographic images and videos of adult males engaged in sexual acts with underage females belonging to Gifford were seized.

Gifford uploaded a pornographic image involving a child for others to access, police said. The investigation began after police received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Gifford was lodged in the Burlington County Jail on $100,000 with no 10 percent option. His first court appearance was scheduled for Friday, after which the case will be presented to a Grand Jury for possible indictment, police said.
