Westfield Friends School in Cinnaminson Donates to Many Causes

The school is participating in a number of projects as part of its year of "Service."

Cinnaminson, NJ –- Westfield Friends School’s theme for the year is “Service,” and the students, teachers and families have stepped up to the challenge.

Westfield’s Pre-K and Kindergarten classes and their families collected enough household items to help four families transition from living in homeless shelters to moving into their own apartments, school officials said on Wednesday.

The Volunteers of America-Delaware Valley Chapter manages the ASK Program, which stands for Apartment Starter Kits. The donation effort was coordinated by Pre-K Teacher Heather Marrazzo, Kindergarten Teacher Liz DiPasquale and all of their students.
