Westfield Friends School Moves Fundraiser Online

The in-person fundraiser will now be an online auction as the school tries to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Westfield Friends School in Cinnaminson is moving its scheduled fundraiser to a virtual auction to help prevent the spread of new coronavirus, the school announced on Monday.

The “A Taste of Our Towns” auction will now take place on the school’s Ready, Set, Auction event website. The entire catalog will be moved online for the auction, which is set for 6 a.m. on April 11 until 9:30 p.m. on April 18. All proceeds and donations from the auction will benefit the school’s Responsive Tuition Program.

“We would like to encourage everyone to purchase gift cards and, where possible, order takeout food from the many vendors who were generously going to provide us with their delicious food,” the school said in the announcement. “Just as they were so willing to support us, we can help to support them in their time of need.”
