CINNAMINSON, NJ - Here’s a look at some upcoming events at the Cinnaminson Library this week:

Monday, June 10:
Little Builders, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Come and build at the library! There will be several fun STEM kits like Marble Run, Duplos, and more! Registration is not required!

Expert Traveler Series: All Inclusive Resorts, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Discover all inclusive resorts throughout the Caribbean and Central America, and find out what really is "included". Learn about the destinations, differences and best times to book, travel, and all safety, security and health considerations.

The Expert Traveler Series will help you learn the important "Know Before You Go" tips such as

Tuesday, June 11:
Tai Chi, 10:30 a.m. to noon: This is a beginner’s course in Qigong and Tai Chi, slow, gentle forms of exercise that help increase energy, flexibility, balance and body awareness. Those who suffer from bad posture, stiff joints, tension and instability should find the course especially helpful. No special equipment or attire required other than loose-fitting clothing and soft, flat-bottom shoes. This program is for adults only.

IPhone & IPad Workshop, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: Learn how to use your IPhone or IPad in this fun, informal workshop. Bring the following to the Cinnaminson Library:

  • your fully charged IPhone or IPad
  • your Apple (ITunes) user name and password (write them down)
  • your questions
  • paper and pen to take notes (until you fall in love with your notes app)

This is a no judgment zone!

Wednesday, June 12:
Stop and Go Storytime,10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Join Miss Kristie for stories that "beep beep," "stop", and "go"! Registration is not required. Make a simple craft to take home!

Scrabble Club, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Do you love a good game of Scrabble? Look no further. You have found kindred spirits with the new Scrabble Club forming at the Cinnaminson Library. Players of all levels and all ages are welcome to drop in, and we hope, stick around. It's stimulating, educational and most of all, lots of fun!

Laughter Yoga, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Laughter Yoga is a whole body, well-being workout that uses intentional laughter, breathing, mindfulness, and gentle movement to promote a healthy, joyful and vibrant life. It's uplifting, energizing and fun! There are no yoga poses involved. The yoga aspect is the deep breathing and mindfulness that we include. The program is wonderful for friendly connection, stress relief and can also help ease anxiety & mild depression, while also being a form of exercise. We do not use jokes or comedy and you do not need to be flexible or funny. You can even participate in a chair. Please bring water and a willingness to be playful and have fun! Thursday, June 13:

Red Cross Blood Drive, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Roll up your sleeve and get ready for the Red Cross Blood Drive! You can sign up for your time slot online at the Red Cross webpage or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) to schedule an appointment/ask questions. Walk-ins are also welcome.

Friday, June 14:
Father's Day Make & Take, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Stop in any time on Friday or Saturday to create an award to gift to your favorite guy for Father's Day. For ages 4 to 12.

The Writer's Clinic, 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.: If you need help with writing tasks like:

  • Resumes
  • Cover Letters
  • Filling out Forms (except for legal, financial and tax documents)
  • Writing Projects (i.e. toasts, speeches, reports, essays, etc.)
  • College Papers
  • Letters

We can help you! Meet one-on-one with a professional writing instructor and get the job done!
This program is for adults only.

Superhero Bookends, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Drop in to craft a pair of superhero sihouette bookends and gift box for a ready-made Father's Day gift. For ages 11 to 18.

Saturday, June 15:
