Who's On The Ballot In Cinnaminson: Election 2022

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Residents of Cinnaminson will decide who will represent them on school boards, in local government, and in the United States House of Representatives on Election Day, November 8.

Before you head to the polls, review our list of candidates to see who's on your ballot. Patch will follow Tuesday's election and bring you results as they come in.

Who's on my ballot?

Local school boards

Locally, five candidates are vying for a seat on the Cinnaminson Township Public Schools board. Voters will pick three for a full board term. The candidates have slogans that will appear on the ballot, and those are listed below.

• Eileen Bleistine "Integrity, Transparency, Accountability"
• Michael Bramhall (incumbent) "Children, Community, Future"
• Christine Trampe (incumbent) "Children, Community, Future"
• Christine L. Turner (incumbent) "Children, Community, Future"

Boards of education act as a governance team for local districts, and can set goals, establish budgets, and make policies for local schools.

Cinnaminson also has an election for two Board of Fire Commissioner seats. Voters will pick two for a full term. Danny Norman and Patrick Richards are the two names on the ballot.

County commissioner and sheriff

Burlington County Commissioner Allison Eckel, a Democrat, is seeking to retain the seat she took in April after former commissioner Linda Hynes was named Superior Court judge. Republican Jeff Fortune is running against her.

County commissioners (formerly called chosen freeholders) are elected county-wide in New Jersey and serve both executive and legislative functions. Burlington County has five commissioners, who select a county commissioner director each year.

Sheriff

The current Burlington County Sheriff, Democrat Anthony Basantis, is retiring per a New Jersey Globe article. Undersheriff James H. Kostoplis (D) and lieutenant Mike Ditzel (R) are seeking to lead the department.

Congressional representatives

In the newly-redrawn Congressional District 3, Republican Bob Healey is hoping to defeat sitting Democratic Congressman Andy Kim. Read more about that race here.

Libertarian Christopher Russomanno is also on the ballot for NJ-3, as is Gregory M. Sobocinski (God Save America).

NJ-3 now includes all of Burlington County, and a handful of municipalities in both Mercer and Monmouth County.
