Woman Arrested In $1,400 South Jersey Bank Robbery: Police
She was arrested on Tuesday after robbing a bank on Route 70 in Evesham Township.

A Philadelphia woman has been arrested after police say she robbed a Burlington County bank of $1,400.
Evesham Township police were summoned to the Wells Fargo Bank at 501 West Route 70 at about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday morning for a report of a bank robbery that had just occurred. They were told that a woman wearing a poncho had walked into the bank and demanded money from the teller.
After receiving $1,400 in cash, she fled the bank on foot. Police established a perimeter around the scene and were able to find a woman matching that description walking on Route 70. As an officer approached her, he said he saw a large amount of money hanging out of her front sweatshirt pocket.
