Woman Killed Behind Vacant Store In Burlington County: Police

The woman suffered severe lacerations to her upper body.

Police are investigating the death of a woman who was found behind a vacant building in Burlington County Thursday night, according to authorities. Diana Stillwell, 29, of Pemberton, had suffered severe lacerations to her upper body, and the incident is being investigated as a murder.

Police were called to the area at about 8:45 p.m. by a pedestrian who heard screams coming from behind a strip mall at the intersection of Juliustown Road and Pemberton-Browns Mills Road in Pemberton Township, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Pemberton Township Police Chief David H. Jantas said on Friday.

She was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy was scheduled for Friday afternoon. No arrests had been made as of early Friday afternoon.
