The Burlington County Sheriff's Office will host a pair of women's self-defense workshops next month.

The Burlington County Sheriff’s Office will hold its first Women’s Self-Defense Workshop on Wednesday, Oct. 23, Undersheriff Michael Ditzel announced. The second workshop will be on Wednesday, Oct. 30. Both sessions will take place at the Burlington County Human Services Building, 795 Woodlane Road in Westampton, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

“Our department is proud to once again bring the critically important skills of self-defense to women in a safe, comfortable, and welcoming climate,” Ditzel said. “In addition to learning self-defense skills, the attendees will learn how to be proactive about their own safety.”
