Zumba for Victims of Human Trafficking in Burlington County
The class is Thursday, Dec. 10, at the Mount Laurel YMCA.

Burlington County residents are invited to Zumba for victims of human trafficking.
Rowan College at Burlington County psychology, sociology and Educational Opportunity Fund students are presenting “Get Moving to End Human Trafficking,” a Zumba class at the YMCA in Mount Laurel to benefit victims of human trafficking, on Thursday, Dec. 10. The class is 1 p.m.-2 p.m. in Studio B. Capacity is limited to 35. Participants will be asked to sign a photo release form at the front desk.
The class is in honor of Human Rights Day.

Residents can participate in exchange for a donation of new winter clothing apparel like sweatshirts, leggings, and socks to go to victims of human trafficking.
RCBC Psychology Coordinator and Lecturer Syreeta Washington and adjunct faculty member Jennifer Ferrell, who are also licensed Zumba instructors, will teach the class.

Human Rights Day commemorates the day the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948. The International Bill of Human Rights sets out the civil, political, cultural, economic, and social rights that are the birth right of all human beings.
