17-Year-Old Boy Killed In Union County Shooting, $10,000 Reward Offered For Information
A $10,000 reward is being offered following a fatal shooting where a 17-year-old boy was killed on Monday afternoon in Union County.
ELIZABETH, NJ — A $10,000 reward is being offered following a fatal shooting where a 17-year-old boy was killed on Monday afternoon in Union County.
The boy has been identified as 17-year-old Paul Baez of Elizabeth, Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel and Elizabeth Police Chief Giacomo Sacca jointly announced Tuesday.
Elizabeth Police Department went to the 100 block of Fulton Street shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Monday in response to a report of gunshots and found Baez with a fatal injury, according to the preliminary investigation.

The investigation into the shooting is being led by the Union County Homicide Task Force and assisted by members of the Elizabeth Police Department, Union County Police Department Ballistics Unit, and Union County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit.
