2 Cars Burglarized In Clark

A Clark local was also among 3 to be arrested for drug possession, according to the police blotter.

CLARK, NJ — Two motor vehicles parked at a on Willow Way home in Clark were burglarized recently, according to police.

Police took the report on Jan. 29 at 11:22 p.m. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Olmer Olmeda was the investigating officer.

On Jan. 29 at 4:05 p.m.: At headquarters, police arrested Christian Valdez, 18, of Flushing, New York for forgery and theft by deception. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Det. Bruce McDonald was the arresting officer.

On Jan. 30 at 4:26 p.m.: Police took a report of a theft of items from a locker at L.A. Fitness at 1255
Raritan Road. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Alex Yanes was the investigating officer.

On Jan. 31 at 9:05 p.m.: Police took a report of a theft of items from a locker at Retro Fitness at
225 Terminal Ave. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Tom Gucwa was the investigating officer.

On Jan. 31 at 9:37 p.m.: In the vicinity of Brant Avenue, police arrested Saliki Bell, 37, of Newark on an
outstanding warrant from the Essex County Sheriff’s Department for contempt of court. He was subsequently transported to the Essex County Jail. Police Officer Michael DeAngelo was the arresting officer.

On Feb. 1 at 9:41 p.m.: In the vicinity of Central Avenue, police arrested Laura Santiago, 19, of Clark for possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS). She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court. date. Police Officer Paul Sosnowski was the arresting officer.

On Feb. 1 at 9:57 p.m.: In the vicinity of Brant Avenue, police arrested Najee McDonald, 24, of East Orange for possession of CDS. He was also detained on outstanding warrants from Irvington totaling $1,374 for contempt of court, and he was subsequently turned over to the Irvington Police Department. Police Officer Michael DeAngelo was the arresting officer.

On Feb. 1 at 11:43 p.m.: In the vicinity of Brant Avenue, police arrested Ashley Vieira, 22, of Kearny for possession of CDS. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Mark Detore was the arresting officer.
