2 Cars Stolen, 1 Damaged In Clark

Clark Police also reported shoplifting and outstanding warrant arrests.

CLARK, NJ — Two cars were stolen and another damaged recently in Clark, according to the police blotter.

While parked at a home on Hart Street, a car was reported stolen on Jan. 17. Another car parked at a home on Stanton Street was aks reported stolen on Jan. 19.

On Jan. 18, a car parked at a home on Cellar Avenue was damaged.

On Jan. 17 at 5:33 p.m.: At 213 Lexington Blvd., police arrested Kyle Lewis, 35, of Colonia, on an outstanding warrant from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office. He was subsequently taken
to the Somerset County Jail. Police Officer Paul Sosnowski was the arresting officer.

On Jan. 21 at 1:23 p.m.: A 32-year-old man from Hoboken for shoplifting merchandise valued at $35.76 from the Whole Foods Supermarket at 1255 Raritan Road. He was subsequently released pending a court date. Police Officer Ted McKeown was the arresting officer.

On Jan. 22 at 10:44 a.m.: At headquarters, police arrested Kyle Simonson, 29, of Springfield, on an outstanding warrant from Clark for contempt of court. He was subsequently taken to the Union County Jail. Police Officer Alex Ruiz was the arresting officer.
