6 Arrests Made in Clark for Burglary, Shoplifting and Drugs

Two people were arrested for burglary and two others for shoplifting and two more for drugs in Clark on separate incidents: blotter

CLARK, NJ — A total of six people were arrested last week in Clark for burglary, shoplifting and drugs, according to the blotter.

Clark Police Blotter:

On Nov. 1 at 10:59 p.m.: In the vicinity of Broadway and Liberty Street, police arrested Tahree Fitzgerald, age 24, single, unemployed of West Orange for possession of CDS. He was also detained on outstanding warrants, totaling $2,252, from East Orange, New Jersey for contempt of court. He was issued a summons on the Clark charges , and he was subsequently transported to the East Orange Police Department on their warrant. P.O. Bruce McDonald was the Arresting Officer.

On Nov. 2 at 11:31 p.m.: In the vicinity of Broadway, police arrested Courtney Taylor, age 19, single, a cook of Rahway for possession of CDS. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. Ted McKeown was the Arresting Officer.

On Nov. 3 at 4:39 p.m.: In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Marianne Perlstein, age 65, single, employment status unknown of Union for shoplifting from the Shop-Rite Supermarket at 76 Central Avenue. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. Ricardo Oliveira was the Arresting Officer.

On Nov. 3 at 10 a.m.: At 823 Locust Street in Roselle, police arrested Christopher Bryant, age 19, single, employment status unknown of Roselle for burglary. He was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Det. Sgt. George Marmarou was the Arresting Officer.

On Nov. 3 at 6:40 p.m.: In the vicinity of Lexington Blvd. and School Street, police arrested Michael Carrion, age 49, single, a sales representative of New York, New York on an outstanding no bail warrant from the New York State Parole Board. He was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. P.O. Andrew Medeiros was the Arresting Officer.

On Nov. 5 at 10:06 p.m.: Police took a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle that was parked at 76 Central Avenue. The incident is under investigation. P.O. Ronny Taborda was the Investigating Officer.

On Nov. 6 at 9:37 a.m.: Police took a report of a theft of items from a locker at L.A. Fitness at 1255 Raritan Road. The incident is under investigation. P.O. Brad Dustin was the Investigating Officer.

On Nov. 6 at 2:37 p.m.: At 1255 Raritan Road, police arrested Valerie Catanzaro, age 54, married, an accounting representative of Westfield for shoplifting merchandise valued at $163.15 from the Whole Foods Supermarket at 1255 Central Avenue. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. Mazhar Elwardany was the Arresting Officer.

On Nov. 6 at 11:50 p.m.: At 11 King Street, police arrested Kevin Kuspiel, age 26, married, unemployed of Metuchen for burglary and theft. Bail was set at $20,000, and he was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. P.O. Mark Detore was the Arresting Officer.
