8 Ducklings Rescued By Clark Police, Reunited With 'Momma Duck'

Eight lucky ducks were saved after falling into a storm drain by Clark Police and reunited with their mom on Saturday afternoon.

CLARK, NJ — Eight lucky ducks were saved after falling into a storm drain by Clark Police and reunited with their mom on Saturday afternoon.

Katlyn Ashley called the Clark Police Department after she heard the ducklings in the storm drain on Colonial Drive around 3:30 p.m., Ashley's mom Lisa said.

Clark Police Officer Alexander Ruiz and Officer Nicholas Kurus removed the ducklings and reunited them with the momma duck, Clark Police Chief Pedro Matos said.

Katlyn Ashley and her mother Lisa put the babies in a carrier and the mom followed them to the Rahway River Park where they swam off together.
