• Arthur L. Johnson HS Marching Crusaders Earn Top Honors at Season Opener (tapinto.net) — Arthur L. Johnson High School's Marching Crusaders from Clark kicked off their 2026 season with a first-place win and top music, visual, and effects scores at a Scotch Plains-Fanwood competition. The band's new show, "Fractured," will be featured at another contest this Saturday at Union High School and throughout the fall at games and events.
   

• Union County brings 250 Years of History to Life during Four Centuries in a Weekend October 17 & 18 (ucnj.org) — Union County's Four Centuries in a Weekend will open more than 30 historic sites, including Clark's Dr. William Robinson Plantation Museum, for free tours and activities October 17–18. Residents can collect history passport stamps, trading cards, and explore Revolutionary-era landmarks, museums, and theaters across nearby towns, making it an easy, family-friendly way to discover local history.
