CLARK, NJ — Heading through Clark this weekend? Police are urging motorists to slow down and stay alert as the UNICO Italian Festival gets underway.
The festival runs from Thursday through Sunday, Oct. 11, according to a traffic advisory issued Thursday by the Clark Police Department.
Motorists should expect increased pedestrian and vehicle traffic throughout the event.
Police are asking drivers to reduce their speed, obey traffic laws and yield to pedestrians in crosswalks.
Drivers should also follow instructions from police officers and traffic control personnel.
"Please be patient and use caution to help ensure a safe, enjoyable event for everyone," the department said.
