Union County’s appeal of the five-year contract for its sheriff’s officers that includes wage increases of at least 2 percent was rejected on Wednesday by a state appeals court, according tonj.com.
The contract terms were decided by a state-appointed arbitrator in 2012, after the Policemen's Benevolent Association Local 108 and the county failed to reach an agreement, according to nj.com.
