Armed Robber Caught On Camera At Linden Walgreens: Police
The video shows a man jumping over the counter and stealing a large amount of prescription medications, including several opioids.
LINDEN, NJ — Linden Police are asking the public for help in identifying a man caught on camera with a gun, robbing a Walgreens in the city.
The suspect seen in the video enters the Walgreens store located at 22 E. St. George Ave. holding a black handgun on Friday at about 2:40 a.m., Linden Police report.
The man goes to the back of the store to the pharmacy area where he jumped over the counter and stole a large amount of prescription medications, including several opioids. The exact amount and type of pills taken is still unclear, police report.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man, approximately 5’9” tall, and wearing black pants, a black
hooded sweatshirt, black mask and yellow gloves.
Detectives are asking anyone with information, particularly those who may have been in the area at the
time of the incident, to contact Detective Juan Velarde or Detective Sgt. Jeff Carhart at 908-474-8537.
