Blumenstock, Lazaro and Nolde’s newest method of fear mongering

During the last week and a half we have seen this Democrat team stoop to desperate measures.

As a life-long democrat, sitting on many boards and committees that work to better community in the last 25 years, , I am embarrassed to watch and listen to how Blumenstock, Lazaro and Nolde are using fear mongering to scare residents into voting for them.

Clarisa sat at the debate table and spent several minutes reading word for word a prepared statement regarding her stance on short term rentals ( ie a family staying at a home in Garwood for a local wedding) preaching to the mothers and fathers about how their children would no longer be able to play in their own back yards, not knowing if a “stranger” was in the neighborhood.

We have heard Jen knocking on doors in our neighborhoods telling our parents that if one of our community members’ relative was in town for a family funeral - someone she didn’t know was driving down her street - she does not believe it would be safe to let their children play in the driveway.

Do Jen and Clarissa think parents are that stupid???

What particularly alarms me is that Lazaro and Nolde are educators in NJ schools. Classifying someone you don’t know as a danger to the community is a form of discrimination.

Don’t educators take some kind of oath to treat everyone fairly? If I were on the Board of Ed in Westfield where Lazaro teaches or New Brunswick where Nolde teaches, I would be bringing their behavior to light.

I also can’t help wonder who Blumenstock is going to target next?

• Will it will be amazon drivers because she believes having strangers in our neighborhood does not make our town safe?
• Will it be uber drivers she will paint as “dangerous” to our community because she doesn’t know them?

Maybe you like Blumenstock as a person but I think this type of behavior is an example of dividing our small town.
