Bone Marrow Drive To Benefit Clark Girl, 15, Who Needs Transplant
The drive will be held Oct. 4 in hopes of finding a match for Julia Morreale of Clark, who is need of this lifesaving transplant.

CLARK, NJ — A bone marrow drive will be held on Oct. 4 in hopes of finding a match for 15-year-old Julia Morreale of Clark, who is need of this lifesaving transplant.
The drive will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Clark Recreation Center at 430 Westfield Ave. A donor should be between the ages of 18 and 45.
If unable to attend the event, donors can register to have a swab kit mailed to them by texting BORNSTRONG to 61474.

Morreale has already undergone a heart transplant and has been fighting cancer, which now is spreading. Her only chance for a cure is a bone marrow transplant. Read More: Clark Girl, 15, Needs Life-Saving Bone Marrow Transplant
Morreale's cousin Amerina Petrucci has set up a GoFundMe to help her family cover the cost of the bone marrow transplant. Money collected would also be used to cover additional funds such as the cost of being an inpatient for an extended period of time, lost income, the cost to care for their other two children, and help with day-to-day expenses while caring for a sick child, etc.
