'Bring Brian Home' Gathering Planned For Missing School Employee
Linden Public Schools staff will host a gathering to raise awareness about Brian Gooney, a staff member who has been missing since March 9.

LINDEN, NJ — Linden Public Schools staff will host a special gathering, "Bring Brian Home," to raise awareness about Brian Gooney, a staff member who has been missing since March 9.
"Many of you have shared information on Brian, but we want to continue to spread the word about the urgency of the situation," the school district said.
The gathering will be held on Friday at 3 p.m. at Tiger Stadium at Cooper Field at 700 West Curtis St. in Linden.

Gooney's family will be joined by administrators and staff members from throughout Linden Public Schools.
Gooney, 55, is a paraprofessional at Soehl Middle School and was reported missing to police in Rahway, where he lives.

The Rahway Police Department said to call either the Rahway Police Department at 732-827-2200, or Det. Tilton at 732-827-2146.
On Monday, the police Tweeted an update, saying he was last seen in Rahway around 9 p.m. wearing dark pants and a long-sleeved shirt.
