Car Burglarized While Parked At Clark Home

Clark Police also reported making arrests on charged of shoplifting, drug possession, theft and outstanding warrants recently.

CLARK, NJ — A car was reportedly burglarized while parked at a Clark home, police report.

On April 8 at 2:25 p.m., police took a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle that was parked at a residence on Hart Street.

The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Alex Yanes was the investigating officer.

On April 2 at 11:48 a.m.: Police arrested Esther Jaen, 42, of Union for shoplifting merchandise valued at $60.96 from the Whole Foods Supermarket at 1255 Raritan Road. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Mazhar Elwardany was the arresting officer.

On April 2 at 5:56 p.m.: In the vicinity of Valley Road, police arrested Ernest Mitchell, 40, of South Orange for possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS) and CDS paraphernalia. He was also detained on outstanding warrants from Clark, Elizabeth and Newark totaling $1,250, for contempt of court. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Detective Bruce McDonald was the arresting officer.

On April 2 at 8:27 p.m.: At 1255 Raritan Road, police arrested Leroy Pettiford, 22, of Roselle and Bryan Galvez, 21, of Elizabeth for theft by deception. Both men were subsequently released on their own recognizance pending court dates. Police Officer Joshua Weber was the arresting officer.

On April 3 at 11:24 a.m.: Police arrested Jeanine Mastriana, 44, of Winfield Park on outstanding warrants from Cranford and Union for contempt of court. She was subsequently turned over to the Union Police Department. Detective Sgt. Chris Lott was the arresting officer.

On April 4 at 9:30 p.m.: In the vicinity of Central Avenue, police arrested Terrence Manderville, 33, of Plainfield on outstanding warrants, totaling $1,000, from Maplewood and Roselle for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the Maplewood Police Department. Police Officer Mateusz Pazdan was the arresting officer.
