CLARK, NJ — Clark Police report making numerous arrests for shoplifting and drug possession and also taking reports of criminal mischief and car burglary last week.

Clark Police Blotter:

On July 11 at 7:37 p.m.: Police took a report of criminal mischief to a residence on Linda Lane. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Ted McKeown was the investigating officer.

On July 12 at 8:08 p.m.: At 77 Central Ave., police arrested Donna Miesowitz, 45, of Edison, for shoplifting merchandise valued at $228.26 from the Marshall’s Department Store at 77 Central Ave. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Michael Ciaccio was the arresting officer.

On July 13 at 12:17 a.m.: In the vicinity of Raritan Road, police arrested Kelvin Valerio, 27, of Elizabeth for possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Michael Ciaccio was the arresting officer.

On July 13 at 2:07 p.m.: Police took a report of a theft of a wallet from a purse belonging to a shopper at the Whole Foods Supermarket at 1255 Raritan Road. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Paul Sosnowski was the investigating officer.

On July 14 at 3:17 p.m.: At 77 Central Ave., police arrested Antoinette Meyers, 29, of Linden for shoplifting from the Marshall’s Department Store at 77 Central Ave. She was also charged with hindering apprehension and endangering the welfare of a child. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date on the Clark charges and turned over to the Essex County Sheriff’s Department on their outstanding no bail warrant. Police Officer Sergio D’Andrea was the arresting officer.

On July 14 at 3:57 p.m.: At 1255 Raritan Road, police arrested Shuwen Zhang, 30, of Somerset for shoplifting from the Whole Foods Supermarket at 1255 Raritan Road. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Andrew Medeiros was the arresting officer.

On July 17 at 9:59 a.m: Police took a report of a burglary to an unlocked motor vehicle that was parked at a residence on Starlite Drive. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Pedro Oliveira was the investigating officer.
