Car Burglary, Shoplifting, Drug Possession Reported In Clark

Four people were arrested last week drug possession, shoplifting and burglary by Clark Police last week.

CLARK, NJ — Four people were arrested last week on drug possession, shoplifting and burglary charges in Clark, police last week.

Clark Police Blotter:

On Oct. 23 at 4:45 p.m.: Police took a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle that was parked at 1255 Raritan Road. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Sergio Henriques was the investigating officer.

On Oct. 25 at 11:43 p.m.: At 191 Westfield Ave., police arrested Connor McTernan, 22, of Springfield for possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS) and CDS paraphernalia. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Michael DeAngelo was the arresting officer.

On Oct. 16 at 3:38 p.m.: At the Metuchen Police Department, police arrested Aaron Jackson, 28, of Linden for burglary, theft and unlawful use of credit cards. He was released on the Clark charges pending a court date, and he was subsequently remanded to the Middlesex County Jail on the Metuchen charges. Det. Alex Yanes was the arresting officer.

On Oct. 28 at 6:22 p.m.: Police arrested Shivon Sessoms, 35, of Carteret for shoplifting at the Marshall’s Department Store at 77 Central Ave. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Paul Sosnowski was the arresting officer.

On Oct. 29 at 12:30 a.m.: In the vicinity of the Garden State Parkway southbound connector, police arrested David Becker, 22, of Hillsborough for possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Michael DeAngelo
was the arresting officer.
