Car Plunges Into Water Off Garden State Parkway In Clark
A 3-car crash on Tuesday caused a car with 2 men inside to drive off the Garden State Parkway into the water.
CLARK, NJ — A car plunged into water along the side of the Garden State Parkway on Tuesday following a three-car crash, Clark Fire Chief Frank Cerasa said.
The crash was reported on the northbound side near mile marker 137.3. Two cars involved in the crash were found on the Parkway with one occupant each inside with no reported injuries.
Due to the crash, the third car drove into the water on the side of the highway with two men inside. The men were able to escape and swim to shore, Cerasa said.

The two men were not injured.
Clark Fire Department responded with an engine, boat trailer, and about 15 on-scene swimmers to get the car out of the water.
