2 Dead After Car Ran Off GSP Into River In Clark: Police
Breaking: 2 people have been confirmed dead after their car ran off the Garden State Parkway in Clark and was submerged in the river Friday.

CLARK, NJ — Two people have been confirmed dead after a car they were in ran off the Garden State Parkway and was submerged in the Rahway River, New Jersey State Police reported.
The SUV was driving northbound on the Garden State Parkway at 10:29 a.m. on June 16 when it left the roadway at mile marker 127.3 in Clark for an unknown reason and ended up submerged in the Rahway River, Lt. Theodore Schafer told Patch.
Both people inside the car where confirmed dead and the two right lanes will remain closed while emergency officials investigate the crash, Schafer said.

The identities of the passengers are not being released at this time.
