***** COMMUNITY ALERT *****

Township administration was made aware today that a citizen received a message from a man requesting photos of the interior of her home. It was soon determined that the phone number and person were not affiliated with Appraisal Systems, Inc., the company currently conducting revaluation activities in the township. The resident is fine, and we are grateful that she questioned the situation and reported it.

Please be aware of the following:

• Employees of Appraisal Systems carry identification for your viewing
• They will examine and measure the exterior of your home
• They will ask to do a visual inspection of your home’s interior, but NO PHOTOS will be taken or requested
• If at any time you have a question about a representative’s legitimacy, please ask the person to wait outside, lock your door and call Clark Police at 732-388-3434 and ask them to verify if an Appraisal Systems employee is working in your area that day.
