Clark Corrections Officer Arrested For DUI: Blotter

CLARK, NJ — A Clark local was arrested for driving under the influence last week in town, police report.

On Feb. 27 at 4:18 a.m., in the vicinity of Florence Drive, police arrested Kevin Durow, age 40, single, a corrections officer of Clark for DUI, police reported.

He was subsequently released pending a court date. P.O. Brad Dustin was the Arresting Officer.

On Feb. 20 at 8:11 p.m.: Police took a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle that was parked at 140 Central Avenue. The incident is under investigation. P.O. Bruce McDonald was the Arresting Officer.

On Feb. 21 at 8:53 p.m.: In the vicinity of Central Avenue, police arrested Jacob Steinman, age 34, single, a machine operator of North Port, Florida for possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. Paul Sosnowski was the Arresting Officer.

On Feb. 22 at 3:17 a.m.: In the vicinity of the Garden State Parkway southbound, police arrested Devin Wingender, age 23, single, a mechanic of Whiting and Gianna Florio, age 24, single, a telemarketer of Beachwood for possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia. Both individuals were subsequently released on their own recognizance pending court dates. Sgt. Christopher Tuccio was the Arresting Officer.

On Feb. 23 at 5:06 a.m.: In the vicinity of Durham Drive, police arrested Yasir Younus, age 34, single, self-employed of East Brunswick for lewdness and possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. Omer Olmeda was the Arresting Officer.

On Feb. 23 at 9:12 p.m.: In the vicinity of Valley Road, police arrested Vasilios Elzahr, age 39, single, a machinist of Elizabeth for possession of CDS paraphernalia. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. Ronny Taborda was the Arresting Officer.

On Feb. 26 at 12:15 a.m.: In the vicinity of Lupine Way and Oleander Way, police arrested Jose Parras, age 31, single, a baker of Linden for hindering apprehension. P.O. Brad Dustin was the Arresting Officer.

On Feb. 26 at 2:33 a.m.: In the vicinity of Cellar Avenue, police arrested Joshua Neil Jenkins, age 31, marital status unknown, a soldier of Southport, Florida for DUI. He was subsequently released pending a court date. P.O. Michael Hernandez was the Arresting Officer.

On Feb. 26 at 11:06 p.m.: In the vicinity of Central Avenue, police arrested Francis Suarez, age 24, single, a food service worker of South Plainfield for possession of CDS and a hypodermic syringe. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. Michael Ciaccio was the Arresting Officer.
