Clark Council Weighs New E-Bike Regulations, Redevelopment Project On Raritan Road

Residents will have a chance to voice their concerns when it comes to an update traffic code.

CLARK, NJ — The Clark Township Council on Monday will discuss updating its traffic code to regulate e-bikes and motorized scooters, and begin the process to create a redevelopment plan for a vacant lot on Raritan Road.

The council meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in the Clark Council Chambers, located at 315 Westfield Ave.

More information on what rules could be changing, other enforcement measures and possible penalties are expected to be disclosed.

Also at Monday's meeting, the council will direct the township planner to prepare a redevelopment plan for property at 737 Raritan Road.
