Clark Emergency Squad Gets New Ambulance To Boost Backup Response

Clark says the new vehicle will give the volunteer squad more flexibility when an ambulance is needed.

CLARK, NJ — The Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad has a new ambulance available when help is needed in the township.

With support from Clark Township, the squad received a 2026 Braun Chief XL ambulance, according to a township announcement.

Mayor Angel Albanese and the Township Council made the vehicle available to the volunteer squad.

The township said the addition will give team members more flexibility and allow for a better rotation of vehicles during emergencies, helping ensure a backup ambulance is readily available.

The announcement drew some appreciation online. One resident thanked the Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad for its service and wished the squad luck with its new ambulance.
