Clark-Garwood Election Results For 2020

CLARK/GARWOOD, NJ — Democrats appear to be leading in Garwood for borough council while Republicans are leading in Clark for township council, according to unofficial results

In Garwood, there is a contested race on the municipal level with has four candidates running for two open three-year seats on the Borough Council.

Here are the unofficial results as of 11:17 p.m.:

• Democrat Russ Graham (Incumbent): 846
• Democrat Vincent Kearney: 832
• Republican Jesse Wilson: 509
• Republican Joseph Nicastro: 545

Garwood School Board has an uncontested race with two candidates vying for three seats unopposed.

Here are the unofficial results as of 11:17 p.m.:

• Albert Del Conte: 862
• Christine Guerriero: 906

In Clark, there is an uncontested Mayoral race with Republican incumbent Salvatore F. Bonaccorso running unopposed.

Here are the unofficial results as of 11:17 p.m.:

• Salvatore F. Bonaccorso: 3,625

There is also a contested race with six candidates vying for the two, three-year township council seats.

Here are the unofficial results as of 11:17 p.m.:

• Democrat Charles Bassinski: 1,856
• Democrat Natalie Bassinski: 1,902
• Democrat John Victor Jacobson: 1,937
• Republican Angel Albanese (Incumbent): 3,069
• Republican Jimmy Minniti: 3,025
• Republican Bill Smith (Incumbent): 3,053

Clark School Board has an uncontested race with three candidates vying for three seats unopposed.

Here are the unofficial results as of 11:17 p.m.:

• Robert Brede: 3,176
• Steven Donkersloot: 3,227
• Megan Harrison: 3,224
