Clark Local Among 9 Arrested On Drug Charges

CLARK, NJ — A total of nine people, including a Clark man was arrested on drug-related charged last week in town, police report.

Clark Police Blotter:

On Jan. 30 at 10:27 a.m.: In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue and Joseph Street, police arrested Laquan Nowlin, age 28, single, a Hazmat technician of East Orange for possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. Pedro Oliveira was the Arresting Officer.

On Feb. 2 at 7:48 a.m.: Police took a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle that was parked at a residence on St. Laurent Drive. The incident is under investigation. P.O. Pedro Oliveira was the Investigating Officer.

On Feb. 3 at 10:37 a.m.: In the vicinity of the Garden State Parkway northbound ramp, police arrested Ameera Wallace, age 25, single, a student of Rahway for possession of CDS. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. Andrew Medeiros was the Arresting Officer.

On Feb. 3 at 11:08 a.m.: In the vicinity of the Garden State Parkway northbound ramp, police arrested Vasilios Elzahr, age 39, single, a machinist of Elizabeth for possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Lt. Antonio Manata was the Arresting Officer.

On Feb. 3 at 2:11 p.m.: At Headquarters, police arrested Jeremy Davis, age 25, single, unemployed of East Brunswick for receiving stolen property and hindering apprehension. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. Andrew Medeiros was the Arresting Officer.

On Feb. 4 at 1:52p.m.: At 1255 Raritan Road, police arrested Paul Galasso, age 52, married, a builder of Scotch Plains for shoplifting from the Whole Foods Supermarket at 1255 Raritan Road. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. Joshua Weber was the Arresting Officer.

On Feb. 4 at 6:23 p.m.: In the vicinity of Brant Avenue, police arrested Shauntae Sotomomperouse, age 29, single, a bartender of Jersey City and Gerard Barnes, age 31, single, a cook of Elizabeth for possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia. Also arrested was Quinto Soto, age 33, married, a driver of Colonia for possession of CDS paraphernalia. Sotomomperouse and Soto were subsequently released on their own recognizance pending court dates. Barnes was turned over to the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Department on their warrant. P.O. Paul Sosnowski was the Arresting Officer.

On Feb. 5 at 1:10 a.m.: In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Thomas Mace, age 19, single, a driver of Clark for possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Sgt. Christopher Tuccio was the Arresting Officer.

On Feb. 5 at 11:42 a.m.: In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Angel Burnett, age 19, single, unemployed of Edison for possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. Sergio D’Andrea was the Arresting Officer.

On Feb. 5 at 3:28 p.m.: In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Lamar Reddick, age 48, single, a factory supervisor of Plainfield for possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. Alexander Ruiz was the Arresting Officer.
