Clark Locals Arrested for Shoplifting, DWI: Blotter

A Clark man was arrested for shoplifting at Target and a Clark woman for DWI, according to the Clark Police blotter.

Clark, NJ -- A Clark man was arrested for shoplifting from Target and a Clark woman was arrested for DWI, accordinf to the police blotter.

One March 14 at 10:17 p.m.: In the vicinity of Brant Avenue, police arrested Joshua Simmons, age 26, single, a warehouse worker of 20 Ellington Street in East Orange on an outstanding warrant from East Orange for contempt of court. He was subsequently transported to the East Orange Police Department. P.O. Alex Ruiz was the Arresting Officer.

On March 18 at 7:58 p.m.: At 45 Central Avenue, police arrested Philip Valdivia age 52, single, a security officer of 9 Terry Lane in Clark for shoplifting at the Target Department Store at 45 Central Avenue. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. Ronny Taborda was the Arresting Officer.

On March 19 at 9:21 p.m.: In the vicinity of 78 Sweet Briar Drive police arrested Kathryn Tracey, age 68, single, a bookkeeper of 78 Sweet Briar Drive, Apt. #19 in Clark for DWI. She was subsequently released pending a court date. P.O. Ted McKeown was the Arresting Officer.

On March 20 1:36 p.m.: Police took a report of criminal mischief to a residence on Briarheath Lane. The incident is under investigation. P.O. Terrance Harrison was the Investigating Officer.
