Clark Man Arrested For DUI

CLARK, NJ — A Clark man was among nine people arrested on charges including drug possession, shoplifting and driving under the influence, according to the police blotter.

On April 14 at 2:32 a.m., in the vicinity of Broadway, police arrested Paul Villanova, 57, of Clark for DUI. He was subsequently released pending a court date, Clark Police report.

Police Officer Anthony Salas was the arresting officer.

On April 9 at 9:59 p.m.: In the vicinity of Shop-Rite Way, police arrested Andrew Movchan, 18, of Cranford for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS). He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Brad Dustin was the arresting officer.

On April 11 at 1:04 p.m.: Police arrested Nelly Moreno, 60, of Kenilworth for shoplifting merchandise valued at $107.96 from the Whole Foods Supermarket at 1255 Raritan Road. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Alex Yanes was the arresting officer.

On April 11 at 3:14 p.m.: In the vicinity of Waterson Drive, police arrested Antoine Morgan, 21, of Linden for possession of CDS. Police Officer Mark Detore was the arresting officer.

On April 12 at 11:20 a.m.: In the vicinity of St. Georges Avenue in Linden, police arrested Brian Watt, 38, of Bayonne for possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Ted McKeown was the arresting officer.

On April 13 at 2:07 a.m.: In the vicinity of Central Avenue, police arrested Nadirah Thurston, 24, of Newark for possession of CDS. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Michael DeAngelo was the arresting officer.

On April 13 at 10:59 p.m.: In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Wilfred Torres, 39, of Rahway for DUI. He was subsequently released pending a court date. Sgt. Christopher Tuccio was the arresting officer.

On April 14 at 7:56 p.m.: In the vicinity of the Garden State Parkway northbound entrance ramp, police arrested Alexander Gazsi, 29, single, of Cranford for possession of CDS paraphernalia. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Det. Bruce McDonald was the arresting officer.

On April 15 at 3:39 a.m.: In the vicinity of the Garden State Parkway Circle, police arrested Antonio Coward, 26, of Jamaica, New York for possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Sgt. Christopher Tuccio was the arresting officer.
