Clark Police Investigate Home Burglary

Clark Police also made multiple arrests for drug possession, shoplifting, eluding and resisting arrest, according to the police blotter.

CLARK, NJ — Clark Police are investigating a burglary to home on Thomas Drive.

The burglary was reported on May 14 at 1:20 p.m. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Alex Yanes was the investigating officer, Clark Police report.

On April 30 at 3:40 p.m.: In the vicinity of Raritan Road, police arrested Shurwin A. King, 35, of East Orange on an outstanding no bail warrant from the Essex County Sheriff’s Department. He was subsequently transported to the Essex County Jail. Police Officer Andrew Medeiros was the arresting officer.

On May 1 at 2:33 p.m.: At headquarters, police arrested Samantha Hoquee, 36, of Rahway for forgery. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Det. Bruce McDonald was the arresting officer.

On May 2 at 11:30 a.m.: In the vicinity of Valley Road, police arrested Juan Sanchez, 41, of Union City for possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS) and resisting arrest/eluding. He was also detained on an outstanding warrant from the Essex County Sheriff’s Department for contempt of court. He released on the Clark charges pending a court date, and he was subsequently transported to the Essex County Jail. Police Officer Pedro Oliveira was the arresting officer.

On May 2 at 11:30 a.m.: In the vicinity of Lexington Boulevard, police arrested Brandon Ames, 35, of Sayreville for possession of CDS and resisting arrest/eluding. He was subsequently released pending a court date. Police Officer Mazhar Elwardany was the arresting officer.

On May 2 at 11:30 a.m.: In the vicinity of the Garden State Parkway northbound exit ramp, police arrested Danielle Miller, 25, of Parlin for possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia. She was subsequently released pending a court date. Police Officer Michael Somma was the Arresting Officer.

On May 4 at 1:11 a.m.: At 76 Central Ave., police arrested Sean O’Neill, 33, of Neptune for possession of CDS and a hypodermic needle. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Sgt. Joseph Teston was the investigating officer.

On May 7 at 9:48 p.m.: In the vicinity of Union County Parkway, police arrested Jerry Saint-Florant, 27, of Linden for obstruction and resisting arrest. He was subsequently released pending a court date. Police Officer Michael DeAngelo was the arresting officer.

On May 11 at 11:24 p.m.: In the vicinity of Brant Avenue, police arrested Shakur Chavies, 19, of North Plainfield for possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Joshua Weber was the arresting officer.

On May 13 at 4:36 p.m.: Police took a report of a theft of a package which was removed from the front steps of a residence on Hillside Avenue. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Mark Detore was the investigating officer.
