Clark Police Make 4 DUI, Burglary, Shoplifting, Drug Arrests

Criminal mischief was also reported to a vehicle parked at a home on Lexington Boulevard recently.

CLARK, NJ — Clark Police reported making four arrests for charges of DUI, burglary, shoplifting and drug possession.

Clark Police blotter:

On Oct. 15 at 10:23 p.n.: In the vicinity of Raritan Road, police arrested Patrick Carroll, 25, of Edison for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) and CDS paraphernalia. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Michael Hernandez was the arresting officer.

On Oct. 17 at 10:14 a.m.: Police arrested Andre Alston, 38, of Roselle for shoplifting merchandise valued at $342.44 from the Shop-Rite Supermarket at 76 Central Ave. He was also detained on several outstanding warrants from Jersey City, Hillside and Roselle totaling $4,250, for contempt of court. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Anthony Salas was the arresting officer.

On Oct. 17 at 9 a.m.: At the Essex County Jail, police arrested Jonathan Joseph, 24, of Newark for burglary and theft. He remains lodged at the Essex County Jail pending a court date. Det. Michael Ciaccio was the arresting officer.

On Oct. 19 at 7:18 p.m.: Police took a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle that was parked at a residence on Lexington Boulevard. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Ronny Taborda was the investigating officer.

On Oct. 22 at 2:48 a.m.: In the vicinity of the Garden State Parkway northbound connector, police arrested
Gabriel Cortesao, 23, of Kenilworth for DUI. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Michael Hernandez was the arresting officer.
