Couple Arrested For Drugs, Needles And Endangering Welfare of Child

Shoplifting, theft, DUI and warrant arrests were also made by Clark Police last week.

CLARK, NJ — A couple was arrested for possession of drugs and hypodermic needles and endangering the welfare of a child, according to Clark Police.

On Sept. 23 at 3:16 a.m., in the vicinity of Oleander Way, police arrested Joseph Pope, age 28, single, unemployed of Rahway and Dana Indico, age 30, married, a waitress of Iselin for child welfare endangerment, possession of CDS and possession of hypodermic needles.

Both individuals were subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. P.O. Bruce McDonald was the Arresting Officer.

On Sept. 19 at 8:59 p.m.: At 77 Central Avenue, police arrested Anthony Simonetti, age 18, single, a delivery person of Union and Justice Lateef, age 18, single, a counselor of Union for shoplifting from the Marshall’s Department Store at 77 Central Avenue. Both individuals were subsequently released on their own recognizance pending court dates. P.O. Andrew Medeiros was the Arresting Officer.

On Sept. 23 at 7:16 p.m.: At 1255 Raritan Road, police arrested Phillip Valdivia, age 52, single, a dishwasher of Clark on outstanding warrants for contempt of court. He was subsequently transported to the Middlesex County Jail. P.O. Omer Olmeda was the Arresting Officer.

On Sept. 24 at 9:35 a.m.: Police took a report of a theft of items from a locker at L.A. Fitness at 1255 Raritan Road. The incident is under investigation. P.O. Sergio Henriques was the Investigating Officer.

On Sept. 24 at 10:13 a.m.: Police took a report of a theft of items from a locker at Retro Fitness at 225 Terminal Avenue. The incident is under investigation. P.O. Mazhar Elwardany was the Investigating Officer.

On Sept. 25 at 6:13 p.m.: At 45 Central Avenue, police arrested Timothy Vogel, age 22, single, unemployed of Point Pleasant on an outstanding warrant from Brick Township for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the Brick Township Police Department. P.O. Mazhar Elwardany was the Arresting Officer.
