CLARK, NJ — Clark Police reported making arrests for theft, shoplifting and marijuana possession recently.

On May 29 at 6:04 p.m.: Police took a report of a theft of items from a motor vehicle that was parked at a residence on Forest Drive. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Mark Detore was the investigating officer.

On May 29 at 7:38 p.m.: Police took a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle that was parked in the vicinity of Westfield Avenue. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Michael DeAngelo was the investigating officer.

On May 30 at 12:40 p.m.: At headquarters, police arrested Patricia Burns, 44, of Rahway for theft. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Detective Bruce McDonald was the arresting officer.

On May 30 at 3:08 p.m.: Police arrested Silvia Guido, 49, of Edison for shoplifting merchandise valued at $131.91 from the Whole Foods Supermarket at 1255 Raritan Road. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Andrew Medeiros was the arresting officer.

On May 30 at 10:39 p.m.: In the vicinity of Oak Ridge Road, police arrested Michael Vaz, 24, of Colonia for possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS). He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Michael Hernandez was the arresting officer.
