Drug Possession, Shoplifting Arrests Made By Clark Police

Clark Police reported making three arrests on charges including drug possession and shoplifting last week.

CLARK, NJ — Clark Police reported making three arrests on charges including drug possession and shoplifting last week.

Clark Police blotter:

On March 20 at 2:15 p.m.: At 118 Central Ave., police arrested Andrew Mellein, 29, of Elizabeth for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) paraphernalia. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Sgt. Kevin Shackleton was the arresting officer.

On March 21 at 6:47 p.m.: Police arrested India Thomas, 19, of Linden for shoplifting merchandise valued at $29.99 from the Target Department Store at 45 Central Ave. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Nicholas Kurus was the arresting officer.

On March 23 at 2:19 a.m.: In the vicinity of Raritan Road, police arrested Salah Ramseur, 28, of Newark for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS). He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Michael DeAngelo was the arresting officer.
