Drug Possession, Shoplifting, Theft Arrests Made By Clark Police

Clark Police reported making five arrests on charges of drug possession, shoplifting and theft recently.

CLARK, NJ — Clark Police reported making five arrests on charges of drug possession, shoplifting and theft recently.

Clark Police blotter:

On April 10 at 5:34 p.m.: Police arrested Eileen Halloran, 80, of Westfield for shoplifting merchandise valued at $194.63 from the Shop-Rite Supermarket at 76 Central Ave. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Alex Ruiz was the arresting officer.

On April 11 at 12:07 a.m.: In the vicinity of Brant Avenue, police arrested Diamond Buchanan, 26, of Rahway for possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS). She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Joshua Weber was the arresting officer.

On April 11 at 8:36 p.m.: In the vicinity of Brant Avenue, police arrested Terence Moore, 28, of Newark for possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS). He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Joshua Weber was the arresting officer.

On April 12 at 9:25 p.m.: At headquarters, police arrested Wolchney Gardere, 18, of Orange for theft by deception and theft of movable property. He was also detained on outstanding warrants totaling $1,250 from Bloomfield, Rahway and Morris County for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office. Detective Michael Ciaccio was the arresting officer.

On April 13 at 8:45 p.m.: In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Julian Saavedra, 25, of Elizabeth on an outstanding warrant in the amount of $500 from East Brunswick. He was also charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS) and subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Joshua Weber was the arresting officer.
