Clark Police report making 9 arrests on charges, including driving under the influence, drug possession, shoplifting, outstanding warrants.

CLARK, NJ — Clark Police report making nine arrests on charges including driving under the influence, drug possession, shoplifting, outstanding warrants, and trespassing.

Clark Police Blotter:

On May 22 at 6:05 p.m.: In the vicinity of Lake Avenue, police arrested Anthony Pena, 21, of Perth Amboy on an outstanding warrant from Perth Amboy in the amount of $400. He was subsequently turned over to the Perth Amboy Police Department. Police Officer Michael Hernandez was the arresting officer.

On May 23 at 1:19 p.m.: Police arrested Gina Torretta, 40, of Cranford for shoplifting merchandise valued at $146.69 from the Shop-Rite Supermarket at 76 Central Ave. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Andrew Medeiros was the arresting officer.

On May 23 at 10:59 p.m.: In the vicinity of the Garden State Parkway northbound entrance ramp, police arrested Bruno Carlos, 23, of Newark and Kristin Towkaniuk, 21, of Newark for controlled dangerous substance (CDS) possession. Both individuals were subsequently released on their own recognizance pending
court dates. Police Officer Michael DeAngelo was the arresting officer.

On May 25 at 1:30 a.m.: In the vicinity of Kathryn Street, police arrested Nkem Okoroagu, 33, of Colonia for DUI. She was subsequently released pending a court date. Sgt. Christopher Tuccio was the arresting officer.

On May 25 at 2:48 a.m.: In the vicinity of Central Avenue, police arrested Manuel Martinez, 25, of Piscataway for DUI. He was subsequently released pending a court date. Police Officer Michael DeAngelo was the arresting officer.

On May 26 at 11:37 p.m.: In the vicinity of Forrest Drive, police arrested Charles Rean, 32, of Roselle for defiant trespass and obstruction. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Brad Dustin was the arresting officer.

On May 26 at 8:46p.m.: In the vicinity of Central Avenue, police arrested Jameson Luciani, 23, of Edison for DUI and possession of CDS. He was subsequently released pending a court date. Police Officer Joshua Weber was the arresting officer.

On May 27 at 3:01 p.m.: Police took a report of a theft of a wallet from a patron of the Whole Foods
Supermarket at 1255 Raritan Road. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Michael Somma was the investigating officer.
