Election 2020: Who Is Running For Clark, Garwood School Board?

Three candidates in Clark and two candidates in Garwood are seeking seats on the Board of Education this coming November.

CLARK/GARWOOD, NJ — It appears it will be an uncontested race for the school board election in Clark and Garwood this year.

Three candidates are pursuing three open seats on the Clark Township Board of Education in November 2020, according to the Union County Clerk's Office.

School Board President Steven Donkersloot and incumbent board member Robert Brede all filed petitions to run for re-election by the 4 p.m. deadline to file petitions on Monday. Newcomer Megan Harrison has also filed for a seat.

Two candidates are pursuing three open seats on the Garwood Board of Education in November, according to the Union County Clerk's Office.

Incumbent board members Albert DelConte and Christine Guerriero have filed for re-election while Linda Koenig did not file for re-election. The third seat will remain open.

Election day will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
