Elizabeth Pedestrian Hit By Box Truck, Killed
The fatal pedestrian crash on Saturday night is being investigated by the Union County Prosecutor's Office.
ELIZABETH, NJ — Authorities are investigating a fatal crash where an Elizabeth pedestrian was hit by a box truck and killed on Saturday night.
The victim has been identified as 21-year-old Sabryna Morales of Elizabeth, acting Union County Prosecutor Lyndsay V. Ruotolo announced.
Morales was found with serious injuries in the 900 block of East Grand Street by Elizabeth Police, according to the preliminary investigation.

She was later pronounced dead. The investigation found that a box truck had struck Morales moments earlier, killing her, Ruotolo said.
This investigation is being led by the Union County Homicide Task Force and assisted by the Union
County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit and the Elizabeth Police Department.
